Our Story

In 2005, Lois Bettini, Patricia McRae and Emma Walton created the Friends of the Campbell Creek Science Center (FCCSC) to connect the community with outdoor science education at the Campbell Tract. 

The FCCSC is a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the educational programs and initiatives of the Center and addressing unmet science education needs of Alaskans.

More than 6,000 students attend CCSC field trip programs each year with more than 2,500 being economically disadvantaged.
